Jordan Valley

The Jordan Valley forms the border between Israel and the Kingdom of Jordan in the north, and the eastern strip of the West Bank in the south. Visitors can cross this historic river at the Sheikh Bridge just opposite the city of Beit Shean. Along the river there are fantastic Byzantine, Roman, and Biblical remains to explore, and a fortress built by Crusaders where visitors can get a birds eye view of the valley and the beautiful landscape.
